I put the bird feeders on the other side of the fence. That way when the spilled seeds sprout, it won't mess up my flower bed. The can grow all they want in the wooded area outside my fence. We left that area alone for the most part.

Ummmmm, noooooo. Ms. Annabelle is the greatest Scottie in the whole wide world. She is such a lover pup. She's a bit on the chunky side, but that's just more of her to love. She's not a good jumper. Having said that, the little wire fence at the edge of my flower bed, does NOTHING to keep her out. It is merely a nusance. :)
